Click here for the: Casual Level 3 Jamba Juice ride - 33 Miles

Or here if you are using the Bobies' MapMyRide version.

ARRIVE EARLY: Please be courteous to your fellow Level 3 riders and be ready to roll at 7:30 AM sharp. Try to arrive 20 minutes early. i.e., 7:10 AM, to give yourself enough time for those last minute preparations and be present for the pre-ride instructions at 7:25 AM.

Please update your bike computers with the route or print out a Que sheet.

Remember this is designed to be for Level 3, if you are unsure what that is, here is the ride classification link: BOBie Ride Levels explained

All riders must RSVP to this meetup prior to joining this ride.

All riders must review the following: BOBie Group Ride Guidelines

Full description::

This ride is for level 3 riders wishing to enjoy a nice ride while we explore some new sections that may be incorporated into other rides - the terrain is mostly flat or a Level 1. If you are on the fence about this ride, don't be. We will keep everyone together so PACE WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE GROUP RIDING.  So if you are concerned about not keeping up or slowing the group down - DON'T BE! This is a great opportunity to get out, ride, have fun, and improve your skills in a supportive setting.  There will be multiple regroups to make sure that everyone is accounted for. We want to encourage new, to the group, riders to enjoy this ride - so the pace will be adjusted to accommodate everyone on the ride.

We will be shooting for an average pace from 13 to 15 MPH. This is the average for the entire 33 miles which means most streets will be in the 14 - 16 MPH range while others with long flats, i.e., Walnut  may creep up close to 16-20 MPH dpending on the group. Again, if you don't think you can do that speed yet, don't worry and someone will ride with you, so if you keep coming out - soon you will be able to :)

(There are segments where we generally have a tail wind or are going DOWN HILL slightly and our speed will creep UP a bit. There are also segments where we will have a head wind or are going up hill and our speed will slow DOWN a bit - hence the 13-16 mph average.)

As with all BOBie rides this is a "NO DROP" ride. We will have stops to regroup as needed, in addition to one scheduled Jamba Juice stop at about the 22 mile.

Safety and riding in groups will be our main goal to give us greater visibility when in traffic.

***************** IMPORTANT ********************

All Riders MUST bring their own supplies for flat tire repair. No worries, we will lend a hand if needed.

Bringing $$ or a credit card to pay for any unexpected expenses such as bike repairs or transportation home is highly recommended.  By not having any way to cover unplanned expenses when something goes wrong YOU shift that financial burden to those that are riding with you or create a situation where you are left stranded, which can lead to awkward feelings.

Helmets are mandatory on all BOBIE rides. Bring hydration, spare tube, nutrition and appropriate clothing to be comfortable during the entire ride. (The weather can and will change during the ride). Please be sure to bring a "Road ID" or similar up to date IN CASE OF EMERGENCY INFO list with you on all BOBIE rides to allow others to help you if you are unable to help yourself.

Note: Rain will cancel this ride.

DISCLAIMER: By being a member of this group or signing up for OR attending any BOBIE RIDE, EVENT OR Function you hereby agree to assume all risks and liability related to or resulting from any and all group functions.
