Serving Dinner at St. Vincent de Paul
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco (SVDP-SF), established in 1860, helps over 1,000 people in San Francisco every day, including those suffering from poverty, homelessness, substance abuse, and domestic violence. SVDP-SF’s Multi-Service Center (MSC) South is Northern California’s largest and most extensive homeless shelter. Bridgemen will once again be assisting at MSC serving dinner to the less-fortunate, performing various food service tasks as necessary. NOTE: As SVDP-SF can only accommodate a certain number of volunteers in their dining room, space for this service event is limited. Please only RSVP for this event if you’re 100% certain you’ll be able to attend. DRESS CODE: Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that covers your arms and legs. I’m happy to provide Bridgemen T-shirts to those who do not yet have one. Please tell me your T-shirt size BEFORE 2PM, 01/24/18, so that I know to bring one for you. Lastly, all volunteers will be required to complete a waiver form, which will be available the day of the event. If you have questions about this event, please contact Bridgemen Coordinator Alex Ray here on Meetup, by email at or by cell phone at 415-306-4549.
