I had a blast interviewing and filming the Spring Fling guests! Matthew, please thank the powers that be for the Peet's gift card.

    Hello again Gentlemen,

I hope you’re enjoying this lovely weather. And it’s going to continue into Sunday so we’ll have a great balcony of sun for the Fling and a nice walk over to Truck for the Beer Bust!

This is just a friendly reminder to arrive at the Four Season Hotel (757 Market St, between 3rd & 4th) by 10am (or earlier if you’re so inclined) this Sunday. We’ll meet at 10am at the registration desk which is at the beginning of the hallway as you head toward the Veranda Ballroom (to the right out of the elevators past the Concierge). For those of you arriving earlier, simply find me in the Veranda Pre-Function room setting up the Silent Auction, I could use a little help with that too.

Please note; one of the Board members likes to give a personal thank you to each of the volunteers, so please email me at [masked] with your First and Last name. Thank you

Matthew, sorry I haven't looked here in a while and didn't sign up to be emailed comments - otherwise I would have confirmed sooner. Not worried about thank yous, just so you know I will be there at 10am tomorrow (or this morning really). Thanks.

Hey if anyone can't go at the last minute... I'll fill in; I'm getting up there in years anyway so it'd be nice to attend (although I also am aware that this event booked really early).

Hi, Chip! Sounds like you'd really like to go! To my knowledge, there's no "waitlist." Couldn't hurt to ask Matthew if an extra hand would be welcome :-)

Hi Chip. Not everyone on this list has replied to my emails, so I'm guessing not everyone will show up. Feel free to join us. 10am at the Registration desk by the Veranda Ballroom at the Four Seasons. I'll add your name to the list and expect you. Thank you!

Arrrg, I need to pick-up a work shift this day. I will yet again miss out on a fabulous Openhouse event. At least some other lucky Bridgemen will get the chance to Sparkle! Have a great time y'all. :)

Crud, I don't really own anything but shorts and jeans. I might not have thought through my signing up for this event. haha Are there jobs for unfashionable pariah-like individuals?

    March 26, 2013

    • Matthew

Hi John - If you'd like to arrive early before all the guests arrive, you can help with the setup. No dress code will be required for that portion. I'll just need you there by 8:30am.

I had to ask. haha Okay, that sounds cool. And I wasn't being facetious before; jeans ARE my business casual/afternoon elegant, so ...

    Dress code?

    March 25, 2013

    • Frank B.

Hi Everett, just to clarify, we'll be volunteering at The Four Seasons for a charity brunch for guests who are paying $175.00 a head. We just request that everyone dress business casual/afternoon elegant, etc. No shorts or jeans for this event, that kind of thing. Which is different from our normal "pulling weeds in GGP" where we would encourage everyone to wear clothes that can get dirty. :)

Hello Gents! Thank you so much for all chipping in. I'll be sending an email out next week with details about the program and what to expect (dress code, etc). I have most of your emails, but just to be sure, please send a quick email to info (at) openhouse-sf (dot) org and let me know you've signed up to volunteer through the BRIDGEMEN.
Thanks again and looking forward to working with you all!

Thank you all for helping out once again. The BRIDGEMEN have been indispensable to Openhouse over the last couple years. We couldn't do it without out guys!
