Did you know that scientists are the top consumers of coffee by occupation (at least by a few studies and this article (http://www.businessinsider.com/professionals-drink-the-most-coffee-2012-8))? I did (by personal experience)!
Please join us Wednesday the 23rd of March at 7pm as we learn about the science of coffee (brewing, flavor and history) with Whitney Webre of Zekes Coffee! There will be tasting too! So be sure to save all your boring paperwork or account management for Wednesday night after the seminar. If you live in or near Baltimore you should have already had some Zekes coffee, if not what are you waiting for!
BUGSS presents The Science of Coffee:
There's a whole lot more in your cup of coffee than just cream and sugar. From the genome of the beans, the chemical processes that occurs during roasting, the volatile compounds that you trap in your cup, to the unregulated drugs so many of us ingest, there's as much science in coffee as there is coffee in scientists. Come learn about, and taste, the science.
Maintenance guy, philosopher, coffee drinker, Pirate, English major, Whitney Webre has absolutely no credentials in science. He likes the heck out of some coffee. When he's not turning a wrench or fixing toilets, he teaches a series of coffee classes for Zeke's.
