What we're about

Bachelors (pun half-intended) of Arts and Science - Calling anyone interested in arts, science and technology from all nations! Let's get together and think about fun and meaningful activities to keep us busy during the weekends. I am thinking fresh college graduates and young professionals with diverse backgrounds! Some ideas -

Saturdays - activities like day trips, hike, camp, movies, or DIY projects etc.
Sunday afternoons - meaningful discussions in small groups. Like what can we actually do to reduce plastic waste? The myths and realities of it. I want to make interview-like-documentaries on similar topics in a distant future. We could talk about serious issues or fun things. No shortage of topics here.
Friday evenings - perhaps more important for the singles, forget work and just have meet and greet and fun.

We have a Facebook group, which is FREE to join!
https://www.facebook.com/groups/bachelorsof... (https://www.facebook.com/groups/bachelorsofartsandscience/)

Who should join
Students still in college are welcome to join!
All ages are welcome! Children are welcome!
LGBTQ+ friendly (of course!).
All professions are welcome, but please have an open mind for science. Please don't be an anti-vax for instance.

All activities will be conducted in smaller groups of 10 or less. If we have a lot of people, we'll divide into groups while trying to maintain diversity.

Who might not enjoy joining this group
- if you're too sensitive and easily offended
- if you do not care about the entire world, but only care about you, your country or your group
- if you're a flat earther
- you get the idea

Cost? The group is not FREE anymore. Charges are $20 a year right now and the trial period is 2 weeks (thinking about increasing the trial duration soon). Rarely, a totally refundable or non-refundable (used for food/drinks) fee for special events may be charged.

Sep 24, 2019 - This group is not free anymore. A small fee is charged annually to encourage participation and provide snacks!
Apr 3, 2019 - We now have a Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/bachelorsofscience/), free to join and keep in touch with everything
Mar 26, 2019 - There's an event scheduled for each of Fri, Sat and Sun. I know we don't have enough people. But please go ahead and indicate your preference so that we'll have time to combine events if need be.
