We will begin the hike on 'Mountains to Sea Trail' to the Eucalyptus Trail and up to the E. Ridge View Trail. The E. Ridge View Trail has rolling steep spikes and awesome views of the surrounding landscape. We will continue around the upper North Reservoir and loop around to the return route on Peters Canyon Trail a flat serenely scenic to make our way back to the beginning. The entire route is approximately 6.5 miles and is an intermediate work out hike depending on your daily activity level.
After the hike, we can gather for some food at a nearby restaurant. The entire event including lunch may last 4-6 hours depending upon our pace on the hike and our dining duration.
Difficulty: Advanced beginner or Intermediate.
Facilities: There are only portable facilities at the trailhead.
Gear: Good walking or trail shoes, hat, sunscreen and layered clothing. Trekking poles can be very helpful along the inclines.
Bring water, protein bar/snack if inclined.
Rain three days or less prior to hike might cancel the hike. Check the site the night before for an update.
Wait at each trail crossing or turn-off for the rest of the group and the organizer.
