UPDATE FOR THIS MEETING ONLY:
After this exciting astronomical event we're hoping to see you this weekend on Saturday, April 19th for our monthly Columbia Astronomers meeting, with doors opening at 6:45pm.
If you took any photos of the eclipse, have taken any interesting photos or have new equipment you'd like to share with us, bring it! We're returning a time for Show & Tell in our meetings.
We'll be talking about technology you can use to turn your backyard into a state of the art observatory without the need for millions of dollars of funding.
Secondly, if you signed up for a t-shirt at our last meeting, we will be collecting the $18 cost from you as either cash or check.
The Columbia Memorial Space Center is welcoming aspiring astronomers of all ages to join us for our monthly Astronomy Club meetings. These meetings will include a fascinating program about the night sky and a chance for members and guests to get together and talk about all things astronomy. These meetings will also provide information on how to pick the proper telescope, how to use a telescope, how to build a telescope and how to identify different celestial objects.
$2 for non club members.
Doors open at 6:45pm and meeting starts at 7pm.
Meetings are held on the third Saturday each month from 7-9pm.
