Chakras are centers in the body that receive, assimilate and transmit vital life force energy. There are 7 major chakra centers in the body located along the spine. Each one has an association to the elements of earth, water, fire, air, sound & space, light and thought.
In this class, we will focus on the elements that reside within us, using visualization, intention and breath to bring balance and harmony to the chakra system.
Led by meditation teacher Sheila Fox, the meditation is done either lying down or sitting up. Mats, blankets, props provided. Tibetan Bowls and Handouts included.
