Friday Evening Lecture: Yods, Golden Yods and Septile Yods
The Yod aspect (“Finger of God”) has a certain mystery about it. It is based upon the quincunx aspect, an aspect that many astrologers don’t fully understand. But this powerful pattern may only be a faint shadow of the more significant Yods based upon the quintile and septile aspect series. How do you find them? What do they mean? Why are they so important? What is the connection between quintiles, septiles and quincunxes? Be prepared for a new perspective. Lots of chart examples will be used. This class is a mind-bender and eye-opener as to the importance the quintile and septile configurations involve many planets.
Saturday Workshop: Interpreting Outer Planet Transits in the Real World
Astrologers know the outer planets deliver various kinds of shocks to individuals as they aspect the natal chart. So how do we maintain inner balance during times of outer change? How do we place relative importance on each transit, especially when more than one is happening around the same time? What are the best approaches for us to take when working with a chart that is entering a period with lots of outer planet activity?
Where the Rubber Meets the Road: Interactive Session with Class Participant Charts.
We will gather the birth data for many of the participants, so Rick can analyze it in real time to demonstrate a variety of transit interpretation techniques. Participant charts will be projected in real time for participants to learn from each other’s charts. An emphasis will be on getting to what’s most important quickly, enabling attendees to “speed-read” a natal chart along with outer planet transits.
