Check the venue image below the signature. ==  Manish Malhotra is one of India's most successful fashion designers. Malhotra has designed for many leading actresses in Bollywood. He is known in the Indian film industry for his different style and his ability to envision a 'look' for the character. He is known for designing the costumes for Urmila Matondkar in the film Rangeela. Stars including Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherji, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor and Preity Zinta have worn his designs. Although he usually designs for women, he designed for Shahrukh Khan in Mohabbatein and Imran Khan in I Hate Luv Storys. He was also asked to design clothes for Michael Jackson when he visited India for a Bollywood show.


The Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO), in collaboration with Indian-American Community organizations of Metropolitan has organized Gadar Centennial Celebration on Sunday, 28th July in Washington. Honourable Nirupama Rao, India's Ambassador to the USA has consented to be the Chief Guest. Three (3) other Indian Diaspora ambassadors to the United States and a number of dignitaries are also participating at this historic event. This celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Gadar Movement which began in 1913 is planned as a series of commemoration events throughout 2013 in collaboration with several NRI/PIO organizations, government and international agencies, individuals and institutions. It is a fitting tribute to patriots and heroes of the Gadar Movement and deserving of their sacrifices to free India. The launching of this centennial celebration was performed at the Embassy of India in Washington on 3rd November 2012 by the Ambassador of India Honourable Nirupama Rao, who spoke glowingly about the launch and offered support for GOPIO's initiative and GOPIO Gadar Centennial Commemoration, highlighting GOPIO's initiatives on matters of interest and concern in the Indian Diaspora. She said that "it is a privilege to cooperate with GOPIO in this auspicious venture.  The program to be held at Rockville Hilton in Rockville, Maryland will include addresses by the ambassador of India and PIO ambassadors from different countries, and dignitaries.  It will also include a documentary about the Gadar Movement, a cultural program, and release of a Souvenir with articles related to the movement, messages from dignitaries and our supporters . We would greatly appreciate your support to making this event memorable.  Please sponsor a Table of 10 attendees and/or having your message in the Souvenir.  Date and Time:   Sunday, 28th July, 2013 == Venue: Hilton Hotel, Rockville, MD
