    What we're about

I started this group back in the beginning as a plant swapping group. You know, you've got too much Liriope or something, then another member could come over and thin it out for you while, gaining a few new plants to fill-in where they need it. Or we would all meet somewhere, bringing potted plants of which we wanted to share, met each other, shared an inexpensive meal, swapped plants and had a great time doing it.

We had a few really fun MeetUps and then I got a job in California. Stuart took over and injected the "art" aspect of it all, which I LOVE! Am not entirely sure how that all went, but my job in CA did not pan out and I found myself back in the B'more. I now have a little BnB in the 'hood (West Baltimore). (think Airbnb, HomeAway, etc.) So, part of my "job" now is sprucing up my yard. I've always loved art as my mother was a painter and potter. So, I am glad Stuart injected the ART aspect into this group and do hope we can keep it going. In any case, a couple of months ago, I got a request to Organize the group again, so here I am. Let's make this a load of fun and gardening and art and laughs and fun!

I envision having various plant-related MeetUps with a creative slant, exchanging creative ideas and solutions and various garden parties and other events, hosted by different "Garden Hoes!". Step up and host one!
