End of the Year Laughter Yoga Boost to help propel us into 2017!

  • to
  • Needs a location

  • Mark your calendars- A location will be announced soon.

  • Let's de-stress from all the holiday hoopla and get ready for the New Year with some invigorating and up-lifting laughter!

Come out and join us for a fun and easy way to introduce more personal joy and play into your life.

Laughter Yoga combines laughter and deep yogic breathing exercises (no yoga poses). It is the creation of cardiologist Dr. Madan Kataria, who started his first laughter club in 1995. This wellness movement has now spread to 105 countries.

When you laugh deeply (engaging the diaphragm), you introduce more oxygen to the body, which is great for regulating blood pressure and promoting vascular health, which is good for the heart and the brain. Hearty laughter is also great for the lymphatic system.

Cancer groups, combat vets, retirement centers, therapists, doctors, counselors, teachers, life coaches, social workers, activities directors, corporate groups, students and others are using Laughter Yoga to help reduce stress, build stamina, become resilient and to improve communication, foster empathy and compassion.

Why wait for something funny to happen to laugh? Participants will learn that you can create your own laughter, not based on jokes or comedy but rather, on every day situations. Of course you can laugh if something tickles your funny bone but you can also mindfully choose to laugh, even during difficult challenges.

Alexa will teach you the how to sprinkle more wellness laughter into your day and how to develop a daily laughter practice so that you can enhance your life with laughter and lead a more joyful, fulfilling life.

Laughter Yoga is non-political and non-religious.

    Cost: $10.00/per person

Come experience what Laughter Yoga can do for you!
