Chapter 3: The Savage Frontier (Session 13)

You've met up with the legendary (and surprisingly good-aligned!) frost giant named Harshnag.  Unfortunately a liberal use of the Modify Memory spell by the cloud giants has left him quite confused as to why he wanted to meet and what he wanted to tell you.  In fact, he thought for a time that you had killed his fellow members of the Gray Hands, but has since come to realize the impossibility of that having occurred.

You are currently on the road heading towards Luskan, and are about half-way between there and Hundlestone.  When you arrive you hope to book passage to Waterdeep, where Harshnag is revered and can receive the healing he needs to restore his memories.

Traveling with Harshnag, however, has not been easy.  While he's very familiar with the north, and knows how to avoid small-folk, he still poses a threat to those that travel with him.  Not everyone sees him as a hero, as evidenced by your latest encounter with the knights of the Order of the Gauntlet.

What adventures await you in Luskan, and possibly on the Sea of Swords?  We'll find out next week!
