LOOK FOR INFORMATION ON BMN RE-BOOT IN JANUARY 2019!
Are you a Millennial who is unemployed or underemployed?
Have you been waiting for a decade (or two) for adulthood to kick in?
Does your rent consume nearly half of your income? Or are you living with your parents?
Have you ever had a steady job in your occupation of choice?
Have you delayed buying a house, getting married, or having children due to finances?
Are your parents getting frustrated by your “stalled adulthood?”
Are you tired of having older people say you got the wrong degree (or didn’t get a degree), you picked the wrong major, you spend money on things you don’t need, and that you are whiny, lazy, and entitled?*
We feel your pain.
This group workshop is designed for people ages 20-40 who are unemployed or underemployed (i.e., you have skills or a degree but are working in a job that doesn't use your skills or education, or you are a high school or vocational program grad who is ready to work and trying to figure out a career path). Join a multigenerational leadership team of career and health professionals to explore life and career issues in a fun, free (yes free!) 10-week workshop especially designed for Millennial job seekers.
The workshop will run every Tuesday 6:30 - 8:30 pm. PLEASE NOTE LOCATION CHANGE: All meeting will take place on Zoom. Look for the Group's Re-boot in September. All members will be notified.

Why is this group workshop free? What's the catch?
This is a pilot program that we hope to receive funding to do in the near future. In order to apply for funding, we need to collect data. Participants will be asked to complete an informed consent, intake/assessment form and interview, and pre- and post-surveys (including ones 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year after participation). All information will be kept confidential.
Oh yeah, there will be homework!
Is there any religious or spiritual content to the group workshop?
Baltimore Millennial Navigators is an outgrowth of the Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group (BJHSG), which started as a ministry of First Christian Church, now known as the Corner Community Center (CCC). The CCC is home to 5 congregations (4 Christian and 1 Jewish Reconstructionist), a sangha, and a drum church, and 24 community groups.
The mission of both groups is to help job seekers to maintain resilience, energy, and confidence by providing emotional, psychological, and (only if requested) spiritual support, along with customized job search strategies and resources.
What happens after the last session?
We hope to continue running the group on a weekly basis in order to support you in your search for a meaningful life and career.
