What is your favorite food you want to grow?

I would love to grow some ginger.

Are you an experienced organic gardener or a beginner?

This is our third year, but we are still learning. We have squash, beans, corn, melons, tomatoes, bell pepper, banana pepper, jalapeno, eggplant, okra, cukes, potatoes, cabbage, celery, blue berry, blackberry, raspberry, grapes, orange, lemon, lime, apricot, plum and banana all squeezed onto our 1/4 acre.

What club activities are you interested in? Lectures? Hands on projects? Garden days? Or?

Dave is retired after 30 years as a cabinet maker and has experience in gardening, beekeeping, chickens, fishing, canning, beer and wine making. I still work full time, but enjoy working in garden, bread making, experimenting in the kitchen and learning new things.

Do you have a space to garden? Or are you looking to find one? Or do you want to find somebody to garden for and/or with you?

We are turning the entire yard into a garden. Just looking for ideas and sharing experience!

Which area/city do you live in?

Introduction

Hi, my name is Kris. My hubby Dave and I live on the LG/LM border, have turned our front yard into raised bed gardens and love the hugelcultur! Want to turn our pool into tilapia farm/chicken coop and become self sufficient.
