Note my cell phone: 9632933226. You can call me once you reach Diamond District.

Also, please note this is a BASICS class. So if you are already familiar with things such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO and know how to operate you camera in non-auto modes you may not want to attend this particular workshop :-).

Hi guys. I am a professional photographer who's been using Bangalore as his base for a while now. I used to teach photography is the US and since moving to Bangalore have been looking at meeting up with fellow-Bangaloreans interested photography.

I did a free workshop in Bangalore in early February 2012 ( ) and have been planning to do another one for a while now and finally some time has freed up.

I started this group as I realized there was no forum on for Bangaloreans interested in photography (which doesn't require one to pay a membership fee) to get together plan photo-walks, small group meetings and just learn more from each other.

1. This is a BASIC photography class for beginners who want to move from full auto shooting. If you are familiar with your SLR camera controls and basic concepts such as exposure, shutter, ISO, aperture, etc this session probably will not be useful.

2. If you have any camera bring it. If not its still okay but you might not be able to try out concepts in the class yourself ( you can still observe :-)! )

3. I will focus on making you comfortable with hands-on practical usage exercises rather than focus too much on theoretical concepts. Questions however are always welcome.

4. Please appreciate although this a free session I am investing my time and effort into this so please approach this with the same respect you would give to any paid instructional session.

You can see my work at:

Thank you. Look forward to meeting all of you.

PS:I will be doing some advanced workshops (for smaller groups) on off-camera flash lighting (strobist), light painting, photoshop processing methods, HDR, water droplet and product photography at a later date so let me know if anyone's interested
