Vineet Radhakrishnan is a professional fashion product and conceptual photographer based in Paris. His work is exhibited in 2 art galleries in Paris and his corporate clients include GE, Nestle, Credit Agricole, Hugo Boss and many more. He has extensive experience with teaching practical photography workshops for over 9 years in the US, India and in Europe.

Please note: Based on feedback from the previous 2 free workshops I did in the past for our Meetup Bangalore group I've decided to make this a paid workshop (5000 INR) to limit the number of participants to only serious ones, so we can cover things in detail, address all doubts on field work and I can demonstrate some studio work as well to you.

Basics of photography – Course Outline
Day 1: (10am-6pm)
Camera operation and handling
Basic camera parts and icons
Focus and Depth of Field
Exposure: aperture, shutter speed, ISO
Understanding composition: leading lines, rule of thirds, frames
Day 2: (9am-6pm)
Practical session + Review of images
Portraiture and table-top (product) photography in a studio environment
Lighting theory and practice
Using flashes to light effectively
Introduction to basic digital imaging
How to create HDR images
Techniques to correct common problems with images
End objective: You’ll be comfortable handling your camera in modes other than auto, understand concepts such as different shooting modes, aperture and shutter speed, understand basic of portraiture, learn to apply composition techniques and learn to work on your digital photos in Adobe Lightroom.
Handouts will be provided to all the participants in soft and hard copy form for future reference.
Recommended and suitable for: Beginners with no or little knowledge of photography who want to learn photography in the fastest and shortest time. Intermediates can join Day 2 (at a discounted rate) if you already know how to operate your camera and would like to learn only the more advanced topics.
You will need to have a camera capable of shooting in manual; aperture and shutter priority modes (check your camera user booklet). A Nikon, Sony or Canon SLR is highly recommended.
Total cost: 5000 INR (includes the course instruction and handouts for 2 days. Lunch and tea will be provided on both days as part of the workshop)
