January Program:

Observing Highlights for 2014
by Richard Clements

2014 offers a variety of great observing opportunities including one of the better Mars oppositions in recent years, Saturn at its best, a potentially nice partial solar eclipse and two - count 'em - two - total lunar eclipses!  Of course all our old friends will be about as well!  Let's just hope the weather in 2014 is better than in 2013!

BAS Programs and Meetings are free and open to anyone who has an interest in the sky!  All are welcome!
