The Barrie Psychedelic Society is a diverse community of open-minded people from all walks of life with a shared interest in psychedelics. Academics, students, researchers, artists, therapists, counselors, health and wellness professionals, spiritual seekers, psychonauts and others are welcome. We seek to provide more opportunity for our members to learn more about the multifaceted aspects and benefits of psychedelics.
We are a community that shares our passion for personal growth, consciousness expansion, and self-exploration to help others (and ourselves) heal, to increase awareness of psychedelic science, to educate and inform, and to explore our own consciousness. We encourage the sharing of clinical research and scientific studies related to psychedelic medicine, discussion on safe, responsible use of psychedelic substances for personal development, healing, "spiritual" growth, psychology or consciousness exploration.
We believe that psychedelics can be used safely and responsibly when users are knowledgeable and informed. Stigmatization of users and hearsay ideas arise from ignorance. We believe in communicating fair and honest messages about the safe use of psychedelics.
We organize events to create safe spaces where we can have psychedelic conversations. We host spaces to share experiences. We believe integration is the key to learning from psychedelic experiences. We are a community of free-thinking, open- minded people. So engage with us!
