Basharia Toastmasters Meeting No. 301

  • to
  • Visit our cool website at to find out more about us and what Toastmasters can do for you!

How about coming as our guest to see what a meeting is like?

On the program: after our President Jeremy opens the meeting, we will listen to a few prepared speeches by members, and then listen to their assigned evaluators give constructive feedback on what worked and what can be improved.

Feeling bravely like you would like to try speaking in public a little yourself? Let us know before the meeting starts, and we'll be sure to call on you for Table Topics: the Table Topics Master will give you a subject to make a spontaneous three-minute on.

Members - and guests! - vote on the evening's best speech, evaluation and Table Topic speech, and awards are presented to close the meeting.

At the end of the evening, we enjoy snacking together on some simple food while we chat.

Please note:  Basharia Toastmasters runs its meetings entirely in English, and members are expected to have a high level of English proficiency - several are native speakers.

Please also note:  for both regular members and guests, as business professionals our dress code is business attire (ties/jackets for men, office clothing for women) or national dress.

Thinking you would like to come to a meeting as a guest to check it out?  Join this Meetup Group to stay informed about when they are, RSVP for a scheduled meeting, and introduce yourself in the comments - we'd love to be in touch.

The meeting agenda and maps can be found in the meeting photo album on this Meetup page; download maps and directions on our website at .
