- Pre-hackday meetup
Ahead of our planned hackday on the 4th May we're holding a short meetup to help share what we've learned from engaging with local businesses and community groups in March and April. Sharing some of the ideas and issues to explore will help us identify how to make the most of the time we have on the hackday. Come along to learn more and find out how you can help.
- Geospatial Hackday
The council is currently exploring ways to provide better access to data about our local area: maps and other data that can help us understand more about the city and the wider area in which we live, work and do business. To support their project, which is funded by the Open Data Institute, we are planning to run a hack day to use this data to provide the community with better maps and tools to explore the local area. The venue and agenda for the day is still to be confirmed. Expect to see some meetups between now and May to help understand what we want to achieve on the day. Sign up now to guarantee your spot. We've hoping to run a fun, collaborative event that delivers some lasting value to the community.
