"My reflections on Harvey Milk have led me to prioritize the atheist movement as a place to put my energies," says Harry Britt, well known gay activist and former San Francisco Supervisor. "Since his murder I have felt a great responsibility to represent him and his message, to look at my years as a Methodist minister through the lens of his insights, and to try to understand their ongoing relevance."
This month Harry will share those insights with East Bay Atheists. He has become a strong atheist with a commitment to critical thinking and openness. Harry also says, "I've really enjoyed working on this presentation and had trouble stopping." We really don't know what to add to that. Please join us.
Afterwards we will go to dinner at King Dong at 2429 Shattuck Ave at Haste.
