Let's meet at the trailhead gates.

Here's the google map.:

https://maps.google.com/maps?q=El+Corte+de+Madera+Creek+Open+Space+Preserve,+Redwood+City,+CA&hl=en&ll=37.412177,-122.306837&spn=0.003929,0.004587&sll=37.7577,-122.4376&sspn=0.250262,0.293541&oq=corte+de+madera&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=37.412241,-122.306895&panoid=wwoClx08nie9ibCR8LTgLA&cbp=12,211.02,,0,0 (https://maps.google.com/maps?q=El+Corte+de+Madera+Creek+Open+Space+Preserve,+Redwood+City,+CA&hl=en&sll=37.7577,-122.4376&sspn=0.250262,0.293541&oq=corte+de+madera&t=h&z=17)

Zoom into the map all the way to the street level photo and you can see the trailhead is marked by signs and various gates. For some reason the trail down to Skyline Blvd. doesn't appear on either the google map or the meetup map. But if you zoom in, you can see it in the photo taken from Skyline.

You can park for free in the parking lot that's about 300 feet south of the trailhead.

El Corte de Madera Preserve is so criss-crossed with paths that it's a major endeavor to tease them out and name them all. So I'll just paint a broad picture: We'll take the Fir Trail to the Methuselah to the Giant Salamander to the Gordon Mill to the Timberview to the Sierra Morena and back to the Fir. That's not naming all the short (apparently) unnamed trails between those at juncture points, but that's the best I can do. We'll probably take a break along the Gordon Mill Trail, but I've never been on that trail before (I wanted to use this hike to explore a bit), so we'll play the break location by ear. We should be back by 3:30 or 4.
