Fw: TOPPER on TCM Tonight at 5pm PST

From: Adrienne

And to start off the Halloween festivities, I just received this announcement. For those who aren't familiar with Topper, a 1926 novel by Thorne Smith, this is where the concept of ghosts as companions began, particularly in the comedic sense. Casting Cary Grant as George Kerby was fantastic, but Grant refused to do sequels once he was doing well with his career, including Topper Takes a Trip. (What footage the second Topper movie had with Grant was borrowed from the first film.)
