What we’re about
Anyone interested in a fun social hiking experience, should consider joining our friendly group. The hikes are mostly moderate in difficulty, though more challenging hikes (and some easy) are often posted (and identified as such). The hikes are usually 6 to 10 miles in length (3 to 5 hours) in the San Francisco Bay Area, primarily in the East Bay (e.g. Walnut Creek, Oakland, Berkeley, Castro Valley, Antioch). We hike as a group at a moderate 20 to 23 minute pace, stopping intermittently to keep the group together. Dogs are welcome on most of our hikes where the parks/trails permit.
The Bay Area has a number of incredibly beautiful regional and state parks. Joining a group such as ours is the best way to be introduced to the diverse outdoor adventures available in our wonderful area. There is no cost to join the group or attend the hikes. I do request you post a recognizable picture of yourself.
