76 Bear Valley Road, Point Reyes Stations, CA
Point Reyes National Seashore -- almost a magical place.
In the late autumn and early winter, there are opportunities to see Coho salmon swimming up area streams to spawn, elephant seals are hauled out on beaches near Chimney Rock, and gray whales begin migrating past the point. We will take an eight mile moderate hike... with a break for lunch.
Trails will vary... starting point is the Bear Valley Trail Head near the Visitors Center. Arrive early and check out the Visitors Center.
