Hope to see you at tonight's event in Menlo Park

A former member
Hi everyone!

I hope to see you this evening in Menlo Park. Come hungry: We'll be serving Thai cuisine, wine, beer and assorted chilled beverages.

And in addition to 3 great talks on in-memory computing, we'll also be raffling off a cool (self-balancing) hover board along with Nintendo and Atari game systems. Register for the raffle in advance here.

Let's take a look at the speaker lineup:
* Denis Magda, director of product management at GridGain Systems
* Roland Lee, head of products at Heimdall Data
* Sam Drake, architect of the Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database

And here's the agenda:
* 6 p.m. -- Dinner is served! Sumptuous Thai cuisine (prepared by Bootup's on-site executive chef) along with an assortment of cold beverages
* 6:10 p.m. -- opening remarks (Tom Diederich).
* 6:15 p.m. -- Talk 1 (Denis) "Best Practices for Deploying Distributed
* 6: 45 p.m. -- Talk 2 Databases and In-Memory Computing Platforms with Kubernetes" (Roland) "Increase Application Performance with SQL Auto-Caching; No Code Changes"
* 7: 15 p.m. -- Talk 3 (Sam) "What Makes an In-Memory Database Different?"
* 7:50 p.m. -- raffle drawings (enter the raffle here: http://bit.ly/2K2pE1Z... ) See the bottom on the page for raffle prize details.
* 8 p.m. Finis

This is a free event but please RSVP

Best,
Tom
