    Hey folks,
Nice conversations. I am a bit late to it. So I checked out some of the suggestions. I couldn't find any information on the Source restaurant in Berkeley. Encuentro seemed nice but seemed a little pricey for not a lot of food but mostly turned off by their disclaimer that they use dairy and eggs in a lot of their dishes. Plus it seemed like a good place for a date as opposed to a group experience. Potala seemed to have very narrow choices based on their website. Anyway, I decided to go stick with my original thought of Souley Vegan and then we can see Improv after at 8pm. I didn't follow up with finding out about us doing Improv but it seemed it would be hard to do on Saturday night since they have shows that time.

The Improv tix are $7 before midnight on Wednesday or $10 after.

Another idea would be to do some Salsa or Flamenco dancing at another event? Thoughts?

    February 17, 2014

  • Marcella

I second Encuentro, or the new Source location in Berkeley.

Open to all of that. I'm going to mango before (anyone else?), so sf would be less transportation.

    So is a decision made?

    February 17, 2014

Sounds like a fun evening. A couple plays in the Bay Area with good reviews...Geezer at The Marsh in Berkeley. Live music is at Caffe Trieste, I. Think that night...

    I vote for encuentro

I'd like to attend the dinner portion, depending on location. Thanks for putting these together!

    February 16, 2014

  • JB

I'm likely to attend if in the East Bay. Will stay tuned for location.

    February 16, 2014

  • Peggy

my rsvp is yes if the dinner occurs in the east bay. May I suggest Potala? Encuentro? Golden Lotus? Shangri-La? I don't see any plays happening in the east bay, except for A Maze at the Ashby theater. Maybe some live music, instead?

Hi everyone, I would like to use this space (hopefully its ok..) to share my vegetarian and vegan website and mobile app.

I forgot to mention, the app is free of charge for the users, to promote and encourage vegetarian and vegan lifestyle. 10% of any and all revenues of the business will be donated to the chosen animal rights organization, which will be voted by the users once a year.

Would be great to hear what you think (at the site) and to get your support! Any share, comment (inside and outside the website), subscribe and a like matters! Cheers! :)
