Interested in learning more about building and running frameworks on Apache Mesos (http://mesos.apache.org)?

Please join us for a meetup being held Twitter HQ on July 25th. We'll also be celebrating the project's graduation from the Apache Incubator. The meetup will include two formal talks, lightning talks, and ample time to socialize.

We have limited space for the event, and attendees must RSVP. This event is closed to press. To attend, mark yourself as attending on our meetup invite.

Doors open at 6:30, and talks begin at 7pm. Doors will be closed at 7:15pm, so please arrive early if you plan to attend. Pizza and beverages will be provided courtesy of Twitter, and we'll be done by 8:30pm.

Presentations:

Vinod Kone from Twitter will present "Building a framework on Mesos: A Case Study of Jenkins", and Brenden Matthews from Airbnb will be presenting "Hadoop on Mesos".

Note for attendees:

If your meetup profile does not include your full name, please add it by Wednesday 7/24 at 9:00am PDT. We will use this to create a list of attendees for security purposes. Also please bring a photo id that matches the name provided on the meetup.

Directions/Parking:

Twitter HQ is located at 1355 Market St. Please enter the main lobby, and checkin at a special table setup for event signins. Attendees will then escorted to the 10th floor where the event will be held.

If you're taking BART or Muni, exit at Civic Center and walk up Market St. There are several bus lines (the 6, 71, 21, etc.) that stop right outside of our building. If you're taking Caltrain, get off at the 4th and King station and you can take the Muni 83X shuttle which goes directly to our office. Coming by car? There is plenty of street parking nearby.
