Imaging on Embedded GPUs
In this talk, Mikael presents Aptina's work on using embedded GPUs available in mobile phones to perform tasks commonly done by an imaging signal processor (ISP) i.e. the conversion of RAW images captured by a camera sensor to format that can be viewed on a screen or stored. Applications to non-common imaging pipelines like video HDR will be presented.
Mikaël Bourges-Sévenier is Director of High-Performance Imaging at Aptina, a company making CMOS imaging sensors and image signal processors (ISP) for various markets such as mobile phones, automotive, and surveillance.
