MST3k October Party! Featuring "Operation Double 007"!

  • Oct 6, 2012 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the first James Bond film, “Dr. No,” and the upcoming Bond film “Skyfall,” we’ll be throwing a shindig featuring MST3k’s sole Bond outing: “Operation Double 007,” starring (believe it or not) Sean Connery’s real-life brother Neil as a suave, sexy, dangerous, uhm, plastic surgeon/hypnotist :-)

This classic MST3k episode is surprisingly not available on DVD, and yet it’s a great one, and includes a bevy of 007 veterans to boot, such as Miss Moneypenny (Lois Maxwell), M (Bernard Lee), the beautiful Daniela Bianchi (“From Russia with Love”), Adolfo Celi (Largo from “Thunderball”), and still more.

We’ll have some comic 007-related short subjects before the main feature, plus trivia, games, prizes, spy music, and more! Feel free to bring some food to share if you like, but it’s not mandatory.

So come one, come all, to see “Connery, Neil Connery,” in this crazy Bond knockoff!

Crazy film that I don't remember seeing before. With some big stars actively making spoof of Ian fleming's James Bond character in the original cut. A prime source for MST3000 to lampoon. A fun party presented by the host with prizes and food. I will attend again.
