"Monetizing Your Why"

Dr. Barrett continually delivers and exceeds client expectations by propelling them into a future that they had only once dreamed was possible. You may be wondering how did Dr. Barrett become the thought leader he is today…

As a child, Dr. Barrett was extremely inquisitive about the way things worked; he took a special interest in the general nature of human beings.  Dr. Barrett was not always a success, in fact, he considered himself a poor student. Dr. Barrett found his teenage years particularly challenging, simply as a result of so many of his questions going unanswered. In high school, he began reading Freud.  This was the launching point into what he thought would be his future career.

He began to pursue psychology as an interest, then it turned into a passion and he declared his undergraduate major. During his undergraduate career, he became a peer counselor and subsequently, a suicide counselor.  Dr. Barrett began to work for the university and he noticed a sharp dichotomy between his studies and what he saw was effective in a clinical context.  The university followed a behaviorist paradigm, but Dr. Barrett always saw it as a flawed system.  He preferred the humanistic, client centered approach, that he witnessed being more effective in the field.  Eventually, he combined a holistic approach rooted from his interest in Eastern medicine, martial arts, and bodybuilding and he pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  In addition, Dr. Ken Barrett went on to achieve fourteen professional certifications in various healing modalities. His experience in counseling combined with years of clinical service enables him to work aspects of Eastern and Western medicine into his coaching for a well-rounded benefit to his clients.

When Dr. Barrett was exposed to the world of coaching it was like he had finally found his home.  He began to participate in coach training courses, and was so enthralled, that he completed an extremely rigorous coaches training program and subsequently became an elite coaching program leader.  Dr. Barrett led coaching seminars for four years and noticed that there was something missing.  Dr. Barrett decided to take fresh look at coaching and began to renew his training with a beginner’s mindset.  He pursued more training and studied intensely, which launched him towards yet another rigorous training program.  Finally, Dr. Barrett had found the missing link, he fine-tuned his skill set in advanced coaching and began to hand pick certain clients with whom he thought could benefit drastically from his coaching.  His client’s results exceeded both of their expectations.

Today Dr. Barrett coaches executives and business owners. He excels at coaching corporate clients within the technical realms, such as banking and engineering.  Using his synthesis of the finest techniques in coaching, he is able draw on his extremely vast knowledge of coaching and psychology, but also his knowledge of medicine as well. What sets Dr. Barrett apart from the rest is that he is extremely proficient in differentiating coaching from counseling. Dr. Barrett provides outstanding coaching services geared to produce specific, unsurpassed and measurable results within his clients businesses.
