APPLE STORE PRESENTATION: ENCOUNTERING LIGHT AND SHADOWS - THE PHOTOGRAPHY OF MI ZHOU

Time: Presentation from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a question and answer period from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Location: Apple Store - San Francisco, 1 Stockton Street at the corner of Market. We will be on the Second Floor of the store.
Cost: This is a FREE Event.
About Mi Zhou: - Mi was born in China and moved to New York. In 1997, he obtained a Master's Degree in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology. From 1997 to 2004, he worked as the art director at Y&R /K&L Advertising in New York. Since 2004, Zhou has lived in San Francisco and works as a freelance photographer, mainly focusing on personal projects, and working with non-profit organizations on social documentaries.

Print Presentation: Mi will be showing prints of some of his images that were made by Hanson Digital using a Multi Tone Carbon Black printing process. There will be a brief explanation of the process by Hanson Digital.

Parking: There are Tow Away Zones on many of the streets around the Apple store. Some of them end at 6:00 pm so there is usually a lot of parking places available at that time. Other streets have tow away zones that end at 7:00 pm so be careful.
Parking Meters: There have been changes in the times for parking meters so you need to read the signs and also check the screens on the meter to determine the hours of operation for that particular meter. Some of the meters do not require payments after 6 pm but others do.
The Apple store is also very convenient to public transportation - the Powell Street BART station is close to the Apple store.
