This month's topic: KISSable Agreements -- The Workshop!
Agreements are a cornerstone of successful relating, especially in multipartner relationships. In this presentation, Dawn shares some key components of creating successful relationship agreements from her KISSable Agreements Workbook ( http://www.loveoutsidethebox.com/kissable-agreements.html ). These tools and processes are drawn from the real-life experiences of her clients, numerous discussion/focus groups, and published books and articles. The presentation includes group discussion and exercises to help you learn and practice key concepts such as:
- Getting to win-win-win
- Why your relationship NEEDS your needs
- The difference between "requests" and "demands" and why that matters
- Safer sex agreements vs. Relationship Agreements - what's the difference?
- Five reasons why even good agreements sometimes fail
- How to use Time-Limited Agreements to rebuild broken trust
Come learn how a little structure can create space for fabulous freedom, and improved relationships of all kinds.
(Note: This workshop is modified from the successful one Dawn presented in September 2015 at the 1st Conference on Non-Monogamies & Contemporary Intimacies: https://nmciconference.wordpress.com/ Aren't you glad you can learn it here, and not have to travel to Portugal?? ;)
Suggested Donation: $20-10 (no one turned away for lack of funds.) This donation honors and partially compensates both host and facilitator for time and expenses. Thank you for supporting the continued existence of our community and events!
(Please note that Kelly is generously donating his wonderful event space to us for this evening, which normally costs several hundred dollars to rent. If you are able to contribute to his success -- and our community! -- with an extra $5 or $10, both he and I would be grateful!)
