The 2013 season is here so lets take advantage of the great snow we been having.

A great way to do so is by joining the meetup for a day of skiing/riding at Northstar ski resort by car or bus!

If you want to come by car

Please start a posting in the discussion board and initiate a car pool or two. If you are coming by car please RSVP"Yes" and put in the comment box "Car" so we can watch out for you.

If you are thinking about coming by the bus.

The Bay Area Ski Bus folks has provided our meetup members a $10 discount(use promo code:sfskiclub) so the cost of the trip is $129. If you have a pass, you use the "Bus Only" package and still use the $10 discount. Please click on the following link to reserve and pay for your space on the bus( if the link doesn't work here please copy and paste on your browser):

Please be aware if you reserve and pay less than 5 days(Jan 28) before the day of the trip; you will not be able to take advantage of the "Early Bird" discount and the trip will cost $139. After you have paid for your space on the trip please RSVP "Yes" and put in comment box that you are coming on this ski trip by "Bus" so we can get a good head count. Please be aware that spaces may not be available if you wait until the last minute to register online.

Pickup location in San Francisco is[masked]th St., San Francisco,CA[masked] between DeHaro and Carolina Streets. Please be there by 4:30am or the bus leave without you. There are other bay area pickup locations if needed.

Here are the reasons for joining us by bus on the trip:

-Someone else will be driving in the morning!

-A continental breakfast is available in the morning.

-Arrive at the ski area between 8:15 and 9:00am with good weather

-A Northstar ski lift ticket ($105 value) is also included as part of the bus trip

-Ski or Ride until 3:30pm or 4:00pm

-Back to the bus for hot choc and snacks between 3:30 and 4:14pm

-Someone else is driving home after a good day of skiing and riding!

-A chance to sleep or watch a movie(2) on the way home

-Back to the pickup location between 8:30 and 9:45pm!

For those of you who are coming by car, let plan to meet at Starbucks in the Northstar village at 10am and go from there.

Where are we meeting on the mountain for those people coming by car?

I am assuming the people who are coming by car have rides or set up car pools already. If you haven't please post here to see if you can set up a ride. Also, check the comment board for same event posted for the San Francisco Skiers and Snowboarders Meetup group; you might be able to get a ride there as well. It will be an awesome time at Northstar this Saturday!
