Mammoth trip

My philosophy: If you plan a trip, the snow will come! The next storm is due for the second week of February so I'd like to go ahead and organize a 3 day trip to Mammoth. It takes approximately 6 hours to get there (50->89->88->395). Cost for three night condo stay for 4 people would be $150/pp. If everyone packs relatively light, we could take my AWD Subie.

It's best to try to leave the Bay area by 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday to get through Sacramento traffic, return after skiing on Monday. So far, Mammoth has the biggest base of all California mountains after the 4 foot dump!

We are limited to 4 people in the condo (possibly 5 if necessary) so I will need payment up front to hold your spot. I can probably reserve another condo at the same price, if we get enough people to commit.

    Hi Selina,

Yes if I get enough people to commit, I will definitely get another condo. You might need chains if you don't have AWD....

If we could get another cabin then all of us can make the trip...i can drive although I don't have a AWD. Is that a possibility?
