12/20/2012 update - All the spaces on this trip are now taken. If you've paid you should have received an email from me with the details if you haven't PM me or text[masked].

Anyone have any interest in spending Christmas in Tahoe? For the first time in a while me and my brother will be in the states for Christmas, so figured we'd spend Christmas on the slopes. We will be staying at Apres Ski Club in King's Beach on the North Shore. This is an awesome ski and snowboard club kitchen facilities, WiFi and a hot tub. We have a reservation from 22nd December to the 26th December.

We will have space 12 people in total (plus me and my brother). That will be 6 people in deluxe rooms (private rooms with two beds) and a dorm for 6 people. The rate per night for a bed in a deluxe room is $33 including tax ($132 for all four nights) and for a bunk in the dorm the rate is $27.50 ($110 for all four nights). Staying for part of the event is fine, just mention in the comments of your Paypal email which dates you will be attending. It should also be possible arrive earlier or leave later, email me if you are interested in this.

Me and brother will be cooking English-style Christmas dinner (including Christmas Pudding and Brandy Butter!) on Christmas day if anyone wants to join us.

We will mainly be skiing Squaw and Northstar, possibly with a trip down to the South Shore one of the days.

You can confirm your place by sending payment to my paypal email ([masked]). Be sure to mention the dates you are interested in and which kind of room in the comments. The beds will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis, based on when I receive payment.

I'll be driving up from early (8am or so) on Saturday morning from NOPA (skiing Squaw Saturday PM) and have space for 1 or 2 carpoolers (depending on whether my brother is already up there). The drive from the bay area is easy (as little as 3 hours with no traffice), but you will need 4WD+snow-tires or snow chains if you have 2WD. There is also an Amtrak train from Emeryville to Truckee (Truckee is 20mins from the club, I am happy to give lifts from the station):
