Bay Area d3 User Group Pages

Looking to learn d3.js? Do want to bind your data to the DOM, but don’t know how to get going? Why go it alone, when you literally have thousands of curious, fun, knowledgeable minds in the Bay Area to back you up.

Whether you were first to the D3 scene or consider yourself late to the game, you are welcome in our community. More than anything we strive to support your pursuit of D3 knowledge. With such a large and diverse group of members, there is someone at every stage of their relationship with D3. Whether you are dieing to showcase your wins or want help getting off the rocks, someone in the community can empathize with you.

The d3.bayarea() MeetUp group is a hard working bunch of creative hackers. We aim to get together at least once a month. At our MeetUps we could be doing anything from listening to an expert challenge conventional data visualization thinking, be lead through a hands on workshops or hack on Open Data at a full-day Data Dive. We are serious about data and we want to see you grow. But not only that, we want you to get excited!

We aren’t here to pump you inboxes full of all things D3. If you want to be in the know, there are several newsletters you can subscribe to. Check out our MeetUp Resources page for a few suggestions. For those on an information diet, you can forget any mention of newsletters and get active in our group. We want to see your hands full of your own work and your mind full of ideas about how to take it further.
