Once you've got a visualization working, how do you hook it up to forms, databases, web services and other visualizations?

There are many layers to this question and different approaches you could take. In the Bay Area, developers use a dizzying array of technologies. Even with d3.js itself there can be many ways to achieve the the same result.

How can we have a productive meetup on this topic, when people have so many different experiences, architectures and goals for their work?
