LADIES ONLY RIDE - Brought to you by Echelon Riders Club

Finally, a ladies ride, only for ladies, run by ladies.  Yes, no men allowed.

Lead by Kathy McLeod, a certified instructor, this ride will be at a controlled and steady pace suitable to enable the entire group to enjoy the ride.  Helmets and Road Bikes only please.  Complimentary coffee at the start (the perfect way to start a conversation with new people), clean restrooms inside Mikes Bikes San Rafael and yes friendly mechanics on hand in the shop to address any mechanical issues before you ride off.  What more do you need to use this to kick off your road riding season?

This ride will happen twice only this year.  Sunday March 31st and Sunday April 7th.  Choose one or choose both.  Whatever works for you.

Our Saturday ride is shaping up! Molly, Rosie and Claire are joining me.
I'm going to be waiting at the Cantina parking lot right before we go over Camino Alto from Mill Valley. I'll be leaving at 9:30 tomorrow morning. This is not limited to only women so our Echelon guys are welcome too. Just know that we are going to keep a nice moderate tempo and take turns pulling. Hope to have a nice group tomorrow!

I would like to do a longer, faster ride on Saturday with whoever else wants to go. Not so much stopping and waiting though. Maybe 10 minutes in Pt. Reyes for refueling. Would love to have Claire's company! I will be leaving from the bike path in Mill Valley to go over Camino Alto at 9:15.

If I can work out a few things in my schedule, I will join. I am not familiar with the bike path in MV though, if I make it, will you send me a bit more information on where to go?

AGAIN! AGAIN! The ride was unexpectedly epic for me. It was 30 miles. We started with 14 and ended with 14. We had all levels and everyone got some exercise. These were not waisted miles for the people who are in shape because we found a way to make it work for all, even with the hills.. I hope everyone comes back next week so we can do it again with the guys! The more the merrier.

    Hey Kerith,
We'll definitely go at least 30 miles. There will be an option to ad an extra 15 too. Tomorrow we'll be doing all the same fun stuff we did last week with the pace line but in more ways and a little faster. You'll discover "recovery" and "protection" and how to work together as a group so the whole group can go further and faster.
