(I have reverted to the original route, in order to avoid a steep hill, and to make this ride more enjoyable. Sorry for the confusion, THIS WILL BE THE DEFINITE ROUTE)

Let's start the Biketoberfest with a ride from the Golden Gate Bridge.

We'll cross this iconic monument, then go through Sausalito and the bike path, and quaint towns to our destination in Fairfax, for the Biketoberfest.
The ride will be mostly flat and at a leisure pace.
The total distance is about 18 miles, and it should take about 2 hours.

Let's meet at the Strauss plaza, that is the monument at the GGB visitor parking lot, next to the gift shop.

The route is this:

Just a reminder to everyone that this will be a NO DROP ride, meaning no one gets left behind. We'll ride as a group at a leisure pace.

    Hi guys, some more info:
-This will be a NO DROP ride. The aim is to have fun!
-Please print out the route map if you decide to return earlier. I am not sure whether I'll stay until the end of the fest or depart earlier. That is depending how much alcohol I consume :)
-Talking about alcohol, you should bring a helmet :)
-Valet parking: YES! Provided by the Marin County Bike Coalition. If you want to, bring a lock.
    Cheers!
