Start the morning with yoga, warm-up, and a group walk about Fremont's Lake Elizabeth then stay for magnificent dance performances by
• African Showboys (these guys are ballistic!) - Nigeria
• Ballet Afsaneh - folkloric dances of Afghanistan and Tajikistan
• Pampa Dance Academy - Kathak and Baratanatyam dance
The event is FREE, family friendly, and open to the public!
Enjoy a day of festivities, visit educational exhibits, watch a cultural show, and make a difference in creating a healthier and safer world. Partnership Walk, an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation USA, raises awareness and funds to help poor communities in Africa and Asia become self-reliant. 100% of funds raised go directly to Aga Khan projects.
The benefit partnership walk begins at 10am. Performances of Music and Dance begin at 12 noon going on until 2pm
