Location and Tickets for Film and Networking Event 10/9. We now have a location for the networking and film event on 10/9.  It’s at the SF School of Digital Filmmaking, 925 Mission Street, San Francisco. The Taverna was great for networking, but not for showing films and making presentations – hence the change.  There will be room for 50 people and we will need advance reservations through Eventbrite, in addition to RSVPs online (you can do this at  You MUST RESERVE THROUGH EVENTBRITE and get your ticket in advance for your RSVP to count.  Please go to: Also, because of the cost of the facilities, there are only 20 EarlyBird tickets available at $5 each through Sept. 21 (19 still left), though there will be half-price $5 tickets for those who become Suicide Party film fans for $10 available through Sept. 28, at the Indiegogo link below. Please get your tickets now to reserve your place.  The invitation on line will be changed shortly to reflect the new address. If this sells out, as expected, I’ll find a larger venue for the next event.

Crowdfunding Campaign Update. You can see the latest on the Indiegogo website, where we got in over $150 in donations in a day, including one contribution from L.A.  I posted a link to the photo video of the big party at the Taverna Aventine on September 11 there too.  Plus there’s a photo video of the first day of shooting, along with comments from people who like the idea for the film.  You’ll see more details at Photos from the film shoot for the short are on Facebook at, along with photos from our premiere at the Castro Theater in San Francisco.  It’s as little as $5 or $10 to become a subscriber or fan of the campaign, and as a fan, you can get half-price tickets to our regular networking events and other parties.  Plus stay up to date with the latest developments – with opportunities for roles in the film, since there will be over 300 extra for a big party scene, aside from the lead and supporting roles.

New Group: The Film and Business Connection to Bring Together Members of the Film and Business Communities. The focus is on the business end of filmmaking, including networking, fundraising, marketing, distribution, promotion, and participating in film festivals.  Besides the film networking events open to my other film groups, the group will feature programs on raising funds, marketing, distributing, and promoting films. You can join the group at
