We will be guiding a small group of residents to make gifts for the healthcare staff in celebration of Nurses' Day.
12.00pm: Gather at front entrance after you enter the gate. *Be on time!*
12.00pm-12.20pm: Briefing by staff. Filling in of volunteer form. Practicing of folding of rabbit towel (https://soranews24.com/2014/02/05/how-to-fold-an-adorable-towel-bunny-while-you-wait-for-your-meal/)
12.20pm-1.20pm: Guide residents in folding of rabbit towel and packing the gift set.
1.20pm-1.45pm: Guide residents in giving of the gifts
1.45pm-2.00pm: End of engagement. Debriefing by staff. We will take a group photo outside the Home and leave as a group.

Our beneficiaries are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents who have an IQ level of less than 70 and/or ASD, or other co-morbidities. There are currently about 70+ residents in total.
*For children below 13 years old, we require their parents to volunteer at the Home with us at least once. Volunteers who have volunteered before at Sembawang Home or Moral Welfare Home will be given priority, as we need a good mix of experienced and new volunteers. Thank you.*
1. Strictly No photo or video taking that could lead to the identification of residents or premises.
2. Strictly No posting/publication on social media that may lead to the identification of the Home and residents.
3. No preaching of religion. No singing of religious songs or playing of music with religious themes.
4. No smoking in the Home.
5. No distribution of hard sweets (like mentos), chewy candy like gummies, jelly, dried fruits with core/seeds, medicated oil/balm/snake powder/cigarettes, cut fruits to the residents.
