October Be Responsive Meetup

  • Oct 8, 2013 · 6:00 PM

Rick Giner (Front End Specialist, Freelance, Visual Jazz) - A case study in Responsive Development: www.yellowadvertising.com.au

This was a great project to work on from start to finish - and what made it really work well was having a good process. Sure, we didn't do everything perfectly and there were a few curve balls but we got through it as a team. If you're struggling to collaborate efficiently, unsure how to decide what code libraries to look into, or want some inspiration on a Responsive design I think we're all proud of - then come and let me tell you some stories!

    Hi Guys,

Hope you all enjoyed the Rowben sponsored beers on Tuesday night :)

Just a quick one from me. I am currently looking for two midweight Front End Developers for two very different digital agencies.

If you are interested in hearing about these opportunities in more detail, please give me a call on[masked] or send me an e-mail on [masked].

Cheers and hopefully see you all again at the next event.

The talks were really good! Awesome job by Rick and Glen. Informative with a touch of humour; very palatable. But the general discussion session after the talks was extremely short. The pub is a good place to have conversations with smaller groups of people, but it can't beat a group discussion where people can ask questions and get feedback from multiple perspectives. Last months discussion session was awesome! It would be great to have a more substantial discussion session next month. But all in all great job organizing this meetup guys :) Much appreciated!

Hi everyone, we are currently looking for sponsorship (food and/or drink) for next month. We will be very grateful if you or your company are willing to sponsor us. As our sponsor, we will mention you at our meetup page, as well as from our website and twitter account.

We will not be able to do any of these without our current and previous sponsors. So please contact us if you or your company or even someone you know will be interested to be our sponsor. You can either contact us organisers through meetup page, tweet us at @beresponsiveio, or even email us at [masked]

    Thanks!
