Why should we be part of a community?

According to the Huffington Post, five benefits of being part of a community include: access to new knowledge, new personal connections, a source of inspiration, access to resources and a support network (read more here:

The Victoria Park Community Games Night is brought to you by a collaboration of three like-minded community centred organisations, being the Victoria Park Community Centre, the Perth Active Depression Support Group and Befriend Inc. Community is the foundation that these three groups are built upon and although they all operate in different ways, they all share the same goal to form strong connections and communities, thereby improving the lives of their members.

The board games featured in the monthly games nights have all been crowdfunded and sourced from donations by the community. Our Complete games list is here:

Entry is $5, which goes to the Victoria Park Community Centre to fund more games for the nights.

Feel free to bring your own food and drink, but no alcohol is permitted inside the venue.
