Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, this meeting has been moved online!
We are using the Zoom platform. You can do a video call via smartphone, -- or just a voice call -- or do a video call with a computer and webcam. Plus, you can share your computer screen with other people, which is useful if you want to share a piece of writing.
It's free for everyone who joins in (I as the organizer pay for it).

The format is: People introduce themselves, say what they're working on, and, if they're facing a challenge, explain the problem and get advice. Time available for each person will depend on the number of attendees.
This is an opportunity for folks to really get to know one another and develop relationships that could turn into beta reading partnerships, support teams, writing mastermind groups, editing and marketing help, and so on.
My background: I've been a professional writer and editor for 30 years. I've written for the Chicago Tribune, reported from war zones in Chechnya and Afghanistan, and ran a news bureau in China for five years. These days, I'm writing about artificial intelligence and cybersecurity and extended reality, and am working on my third science fiction novella. (The first two made Amazon's best seller lists for their categories. Whoo hoo! Thanks, everyone!)
