Time: Meet at 9 a.m. Place: Meet at Krogers Bellevue parking lot to carpool to the TN Ren Fest in Triune, about a 45-minute drive.
Attire: Comfortable attire is good, but dressing up in costume is better! Pirates, elves, fairies, Robin Hood, Narnia, Middle Earth, knights, peasants, kings and queens--playtrons have more fun! I plan to go in costume -- you have been warned!
Tickets: $20 or $18 if you buy online by April 17.
We will spend plenty of time walking but can also sit and take in a few shows as well as eat at the festival, so bring comfortable shoes and money for eating, shopping and tipping. Also, if you plan to ride with someone in the carpool, bring an extra $10 to help with gas. Also, we will probably try to catch the tour of Castle Gwynn at 11 or 11:15, so you can try to meet us at the bus to Castle Gwynn around that time.
There is no good way to try to set a time and place to meet at the festival, so please plan to meet at Krogers. You are also welcome to exchange cell numbers in the comments below and try finding us once you arrive.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but I am tentatively planning a 4 or 5 hour stay with a 45-minute drive each way. Anyone with a car is welcome to stay longer (or leave earlier).
IN THE EVENT OF RAIN ON SATURDAY, WE WILL GO ON SUNDAY, SAME TIME, SAME PLACE.
