Distance: 6.3 Miles roundtrip.
Elevation Gain: 1030 feet.
Pace: 3-3.5 MPH.
Terrain: Gravel, dirt trails, some steep hills.
Let's meet at the WEST entrance. I'll be parked near the restrooms and will wait near the bench by the restrooms.
This is a moderate to fast-paced hike averaging 3-3.5 mph and is intended as a workout. This hike and pace is not meant for meanders, casual strollers, or those not already physically active. I am looking for other strong hikers who wish to do the same.
We will be hiking around the back trails of Lake Padden with lots of hills, both up and down:-) We'll start at the restrooms and hike counterclockwise toward the Padden Gorge Trail. After passing the trail junction here, we leave the familiar Lake loop and start climbing. Once we reach the ridge it's lots of ups and downs as we work our way around the back of the lake and toward (but not to) Galbrath Mountain. From here, we descend and re-connect to the Lake Padden Loop Trail and back to our cars to complete the loop.
We will leave on time, so please allow extra time if unfamiliar with the area.
Please Note: End time is only an estimate, based on 3 MPH pace and few rest breaks. Hike may end sooner or go longer due to unexpected delays. Please do not sign up if you need to return by a certain time as I cannot guarantee return time.

We will be hiking at a brisk 3-3.5 MPH pace. There will be few planned rest breaks. You will be expected to keep up with the group or be comfortable hiking alone. Be prepared with clothing appropriate for the weather, shoes or hiking boots with good traction and snacks/water.
I am the meetup event host, not a qualified professional hiking guide. You will need to be responsible for yourself & your safety. I strongly advise you to only sign up for hikes that meet your level of experience and health condition.
