This scenic 42 mile road ride has 2800 ft of climbing and is suited to intermediate cyclists. Heading north out of Prineville we will ride through beautiful farm country and then steadily climb along the creek. There are lots of aspens and wildflowers blooming now. The views were stunning last week.

For those wanting some bonus miles and elevation gain, there is an option. At mile 21, the road takes a sharp right and climbs straight up for 3 more miles before turning to dirt. The trip back to town is mostly downhill. As it is an out and back route, riders may ride their own pace and turn around at any time.

Fellas are welcome to come join us.

Meet at Pioneer Park just east of the Pville Courthouse, ready to roll out at 10 am. Restrooms are available at the park. There are no snacks or water along the way, so bring enough with you.

After the ride, we will do happy hour at one of the food carts.
